We have split our traditional cycle shelter range into 2 sub-categories depending on their overall width. Within each category you will find the traditional galvanised steel models and new powder coated blue and green models. Each cycle shelter base unit can be extented and therefore has a corresponding extension unit. The cycle shelters can be positioned 'free standing'  (FS)  with 'closed back' or 'wall fixed' (WF) with 'open back'. Lasty there is a choice of depths, D1900mm should be used when the cycle shelter's main purpose is for bikes, D2500mm should be used if it also has to cater for motorbikes and scooters.

The overall design and specification of Traditional Cycle Shelters as you might expect has not changed as much as the shape and the form of the bicycles or cycles it is used to store and park. The name 'Traditional' tends to make us assume that galvanised corrugated steel will be used to form the roof, back and side panels of the shelter, however a smart, 'rust free' modern looking alternative is to use perforated flat powder coated steel panels for the backs and sides instead.

Selected models of the Traditional Cycle Shelter have been designed to accommodate the Traditional Cycle Rack, a twin-level, space efficient rack to which a wheel of each bike can be chained securely. These racks are large enough to take the wheel of most bikes including mountain bikes.
