Petrol, Diesel, Dual Fuel and Inverter Generators

Portable petrol generators, diesel generators, dual fuel generators and inverter generators that can provide power for a range of applications in leisure, constuction, catering, festival and camping or outdoor industries. Our range includes Champion and Warrior generators that provide reliable, easy to use and easy to maintain generators.  These AC generators can be used as the main power source on site or as a backup generator in the workplace or domestic environment.  Available as both manual pull or recoil start generators, electric start generators, or remote start generators and with a range of accessories, safety features and different wattages and power options to suit your requirements.

Choose from different sizes according to your individual requirements.

Portable Petrol Generators

Petrol generators are ideal for smaller scale jobs, are reliable when starting up in cold weather, can be quite cheap to run and generally produce a limited amount of noise.  They can also be lighter than their diesel powered equivalents, making them easier to transport and position.

  • Champion 2800 Watt Petrol Generator - 3 kVA Manual start generator that is ideal for providing power on camping trips, for outside DIY jobs and in the workplace
  • Champion 3500 Watt Petrol Generator - 3.75kVA Electric start generator that can be used to power fridges, lights TVs, power tools and other small appliances
  • Champion 5500 Watt Petrol Generator - 6kVA Remote start generator for providing electrical power to construction sites, outside catering jobs, and camping sites
  • Champion 8000 Watt Petrol Generator - 9.4kVA Remote start generator that can power several electrical appliances at once, or be used as a backup generator

Diesel Generators

Diesel generators are generally more fuel efficient than their petrol counterparts (they run longer on the same amount of fuel), meaning that their overall running costs tend to be lower and less fuel needs to be stored when using them, significantly reducing the hazards associated with this.  While diesel generators were historically noisy, modern diesel generators run much quieter (many are now fitted with covers to allow near silent running).  Due to diesel generators not requiring a sparkplug for ingition (they rely on compression) and the fact that diesel burns at a lower temperature than petrol, means that they require less maintenance than petrol generators, providing longer lasting performance.

  • Warrior 4.6 kW Diesel Generator - 5.75kVA Electric start diesel generator for use on construction and installation sites, camping and festival sites and domestically as a backup power source
  • Warrior 5 kW Diesel Generator - 4.75kVA Electric start silent diesel generator that can be used to power a range of appliances
  • Warrior 6.3 kW Diesel Generator - 6.2kVA Electric start silent diesel generator suitable for use with power tools, white goods and lighting units or sound systems
  • Warrior 11kW Diesel Generator - 13.7kVA Electric start silent diesel generator that is ideal for use during power cuts or for heavy duty power use

Dual Fuel Generators

Dual fuel generators offer more versatilty as they can powered by petrol and/or LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas). This allows more choice as to what fuel is used to power them at a particular time, and also means that there is not complete reliance on just one fuel source.

  • Champion 2800 Watt Dual Fuel Generator - 3.1kVA Electric start dual fuel generator ideal for powering appliances when camping, at home or in the workplace.
  • Champion 7000 Watt Dual Fuel Generator -  7.5kVA Electric start dual duel generator that can be used in the leisure, camping, and agricultural industries for powering tools and appliances

Inverter Generators

Inverter generators produce cleaner (essentially more regulated and reliable frequency) AC power than conventional generators as they generally have a 3 phase process of producing electricty: an AC currrent is generated and then converted to DC (smoothing out the current), and then inverted back to AC power that maintains a single phase, pure sine wave of the required voltage and frequency, compared with conventional generators whose frequency fluctuates with the engine's rpm.  The result is a much more reliable and cleaner AC output that is not influenced by the engine speed, meaning that sensitive eletcrical items that use microprocessors such as computers, phones, tablets and consoles can be powered from the generator with less possibility that they will be damaged or malfunction.

  • Champion 1000 Watt Inverter Generator - 1kVA Manual start silent inverter generator that can be used to power smaller sensitive electrical items
  • Champion 2000 Watt Inverter Generator - 2.3kVA Manual start silent inverter generator that can power sensitive electrical items
  • Champion 3100 Watt Inverter Generator - 3.1kVA Manual start silent inverter generator suitable for powering multiple smaller sensitive electrical appliances
  • Champion 3100 Watt Inverter Generator - 3.1kVA Electric and Remote start silent inverter generator that can be used to power electrical appliances that are sensitive to electrical frequency output
