PCB SmartTray System Carts

PCB handling carts that are designed to maximise productivity by using the SmartTray system to allowing transportation of multiple circuit boards in an organised and quickly identifiable manner. SmartTray is made from Metrostat, a material that minimises PCB handling damage and provides superior ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection.

An 18 inch by 26 inch (457mm x 660mm) tray footprint allows the storage of multiple sized circuit boards and the use of barcode technology within the SmartTray system facilitates the easy tracking of work-in-progress and finished goods. Colour coding accessories are also available to clearly identify trays and carts. The SmartTray system can be used with all bottom-load tray cart designs (Metro and non-Metro models) as well as conveyor systems.

SmartTrays can be stacked by themselves and with competitive tray designs of the same dimensions. Easy to clean and maintain, Premium rubber two-layer inlays offer maximum ESD protection and superior resistance to heat, abrasion and chemicals, while a soft dissipative layer makes them ideal for use in soldering and assembly areas. Economy vinyl single layer inlays provide a soft surface for cushioned PCB transport and some static dissipative ESD protection, they are not recommended for use in soldering or assembly applications.
